Get Your MC Licence

Whatever gearbox condition you have on your current HR Licence is the condition that you will have on your MC Licence.

The vehicle that we use for MC Truck Licence driver training has an automatic gearbox. We believe that by completing the training in an automatic truck, it provides you with the time to concentrate on the specifics of driving a B Double Vehicle, with two trailers, without having to worry about also mastering the Road Ranger Gear Box. Importantly, it will allow you extra time to concentrate on learning to reverse the B Double.

If you currently have a:

• HR Condition A Licenceand would like to get an MC Condition B Licence then, we would undertake additional training in a 6-speed synchromesh HR truck.
• HR Condition A or Condition B Licenceand would like to get an MC Unrestricted Licence then, we would undertake additional training in our unrestricted Road Ranger HR truck which has a 13 speed overdrive crash/road ranger gearbox. After leaning on a 13-speed, you’ll find it easy to drive a 15-speed or 18-speed Road Ranger gearbox truck, as the only difference is that in an 18-speed you are able to split the gears in both high and low range and in a 13 speed you are only able to split the gears in the high range.
